Rev. Mark Smith, BRE, BTH
Mark
grew up in the Montreal area and began in
Christian service as camp manager of a Christian youth camp in the eastern
townships of Quebec. Leaving Quebec he traveled west where he served as pastor
in Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario.
Pastor Mark served as a guest speaker in several of our area
churches
after
arriving in the Maritimes and then as pastor in Middlesex
and Elgin where he
also served a
term as Moderator of the Albert Association of Baptist Churches. Mark is
now serving as Senior Pastor here at Salisbury Baptist.
Rev. Mark Smith is married over 30 years to his wife Maisie
and they have
had three children.
Blake Bartlett, B.Eng.,

Director of Christian Education & Youth Ministries
Blake hails from St. John's, Nfld. where he was a founding member of West End
Baptist Church. He comes with his wife Catherine, a music and voice
teacher, son John, a budding drummer and daughter Ruth who plays harp.
He comes to Salisbury with over thirty years of Youth Ministry experience. He
was on staff at his home church twice for seventeen years where he was Interim
Pastor, then Pastor of Children, Youth & Camp. He has also served at St
Bride's Anglican Church, Mississauga twice for 7 years as Youth
Pastor. He recently fulfilled a one year contract at St Mary's Anglican
Church, St John's as Pastor of Youth & Young Families, Catherine served there
as Minister of Music for four years. Blake served for years as Summer
Director for Newfoundland Adventure Camp. He loves sports and is always up
for a table tennis challenge.
